Summer Tackle Football Program 2011 (Grades 5-8)
This is a competitive football program for boys in 5th through 8th grade that includes practice and scheduled games with area towns in the Southern Illinois Youth Football Conference.
PLACE: Practices are held at the Marion Jr. High football field. Home games are played at Marion Junior High School, as well.
Dates: The season begins with a camp held from July 18th through July 22nd at the Jr High from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Games are then played on Saturdays through the end of September. Practices are held Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
SUPERVISION: Adult coaches and assistants of the Marion Football Program.
EQUIPMENT: Football shoes with plastic spikes.
FEES: Cost is $40 per student. A refundable security deposit is also required for use of the football equipment.
REGISTRATION: Register on June 18th or June 25th at the Marion Youth Center from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Summer Flag Football Program 2011 (Grades 1-4)
A competitive football program for boys in 1st through 4th grades is available that includes instruction, practice and scheduled local games.
REGISTRATION: Register on August 20th at the Marion Youth Center from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
